History

Interstate Highway Sign Corporation, founded in 1959, is the leading producer of highway signs in the United States. The company, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, has acquired a wide variety of markets and product lines. Interstate works directly with general contractors, government agencies, private organizations, individuals, architectural firms, design firms, as well as airports and other mass transit systems.

Our 169,000 sf of building space allows us to create drawings for a project, produce the signs, inspect the signs, certify the materials, and deliver the finished product on an Interstate truck. To ensure consistency and uniformity in the building of these signs, work processes have been documented according to ISO 9000 guidelines. In addition, we have special equipment that will enhance our manufacturing capability. Two special machines are the cut to length aluminum coil line which gives us the capability to cut coil metal, and the automatic paint line which allows us to paint using a number of finishes. Other special machinery includes metal treating facilities and equipment to apply reflective sheeting.

The dedication and commitment of Interstate's employees has made our leadership position possible. Each employee is a part of a self directed work team which prides itself on producing superior products and exceptional personal service.
